GLO #NPFL: @EnyimbaFc’s Christian Obiozor leads the people’s elephant to victory against @EnuguRangersFC

The Nnamdi Azikwe stadium, Enugu have hosted a handful of oriental derbies but the week 19 encounter between Enyimba of Aba and Rangers of Enugu promised to be the most exciting of them all.
The Prodigal son of Enugu, Christian Obiozor returned to his old hunting ground with a bang as he converted a penalty in the 56th minute to hand the visitors the derby lead, understandably the former Rangers man refused to celebrate his 6th goal of the season for old times sake.
However, the flying antelopes gave the home fans something to laugh about as Godwin Aguda netted the equalizer with less than 12 minutes to play, but an 82 minutes beauty from Ezekiel Bassey ensured that the Aba giants registered their fourth away win of the season.
Meanwhile, at the Rojenny stadium, Oba the revelation of the season and leading scorer of the league in-form Bright Ejike scored his 11th goal of the season as his club @HeartlandFC_ng mauled Wikki Tourist 4-0.
The result came as a big shock to many, not only because of the tourist impressive away form but their overall performance this season has been unbelievable. Inspite of this disappointing defeat the club still maintain their grip on third spot and 3 points shy of joint leaders EnyimbaFc and Sunshine Stars.

Two goals from hitman Tunde Adeniji confirmed @sunshineFcAkure as mid-season champions of the 2015 /16 #GloNPFL and made him joint top scorer of the league, the Akure based side came from a goal down in the opening 15 minutes of the game to stage a comeback and secure all 3 points for anxious home fans.
Elsewhere @Warri_Wolves_FC utility player @iamzeezaga scores again for the seaside, the forward who has now scored 3 goals in last four Nigeria Professional Football league matches led the team to a 2-1 victory Over fellow Niger delta side Sharks of Port Harcourt. In other news defending Champions @pillarsfc continued their frustrating start to the season with an epic 3-3 encounter with @LobiStars in makurdi to remain in 9th position.
